Into the Fire of Consciousness

Into the Fire of Consciousness   The velvet dark of slumber broke, And silence of the mind awoke, No gentle dawn, but sudden, stark, A burning coal within the dark. One steps beyond the veil of dream, And wades into the blinding gleam, Where thought is stripped of easy form, And sheltering illusions storm. The Ego’s wood begins to char, Exposing scars from near and far, The fear one hid, the truth one shunned, Are rendered bare, and now confronted. This is the forge where metal bends, Where knowing starts, and falsehood ends, A crucible of searing light, That burns away the day and night. One watches the self that was held as mine, Distort and flicker, then decline, Until a core, resilient, vast, Emerges from the fiery blast. No longer shadow, half-defined, But presence focused, sharp, refined; To meet the flame and not recoil, Is the soul's necessary toil. And from the ash, a fragile, new, Unburdened truth breaks shining through, To breathe the air, intensely free, Transformed, ye...

Emptiness - The Heart Sutra

Emptiness - The Heart Sutra One is a dream, a flowing stream, a shadow,  a whisper,  a gentle gleam.   body and feeling,  mind and thought, One is not - what One sought, what One seem - One is not. empty is One, just like the sky,  nothing to reflect - nothing to fill with, just a peaceful sigh, nothing to hold - nothing to grasp, don't fear the void, don't fear the space, the truth of this place. no pain - no gain,  no path to find, an open heart - an open mind, One see this truth and One is free, a bird soaring over the sea. Gatē Gatē Paragatē Parasaṃgatē Bodhi Svāhā Gone, gone, gone beyond, to the shore of awakening. The Heart Sutra as a void - a state of freedom from attachment.         PS When One see emptiness not as a void to be feared but as the very fabric of everything—a state of boundless potential and freedom—it transforms Ones perspective. This shift from fear to love is the heart of the Heart Sutra's teaching. ...

Identity

A core's deep knowing, One’s path, One true self, One stand, proud and firm. The mirror shows One, Not the world's reflecting glass, Yet One’s soul's own light. The core of One’s truth, One hold head high with grace, One’s story, One’s worth. One know who One is, And why One is here to be, One’s soul's purpose shines. To be truly seen, One’s own voice, One’s mind's true strength, A bold, new chapter.     PS. Identify the Identity - One's Identity

A Praise

A Praise   A form of grace, with tusk and trunk, Before all rites, One's name is sung. Not just of stone, or painted art, One lives within the human heart.   One is the one who clears the way, Not just of blocks that go astray, But from the mind's own tangled mess, The worry, doubt, and restlessness.   In One, see the One's guide, Who helps One find what's deep inside. The ego small, the wisdom vast, A timeless truth, forever cast.   One's broken tusk, a story told, Of sacrifice, courageous, bold. To write the book, to share the word, A whisper from the unseen heard.   One's large ears hear One's silent plea, One's eyes perceive what One can't see. The path, though hard it seems, Is paved with light from inner dreams.   So bow to One, but not in fear, The Supporter of One is near. One is the peace, One long to find, The quiet home within your mind.   PS  Finding One, yet within Oneself.

Surrendering To ...

Surrendering To ...   To the currents of a truth One cannot hold, One cast my vessel, and One's story is told. No longer captain, master of One's fate, One open to a higher, unseen gate. The sails of ego, once so stiff and proud, Fall soft and slack, a whisper in the cloud. The anchor of the self, One let it go, To drift upon the cosmic ebb and flow. One cease One's striving, quiet every plea, And find One's freedom in what One is meant to be. This gentle giving, this surrender sweet, Is not defeat, but sacred, true retreat. The shore One seek is not a place to find, But a release of all One left behind. A silent knowing, a most certain peace, Where all One's small and separate strivings cease. Love As Guide

Love As Guide   The heart, a compass, seeks a sacred pole, And what it finds shall shape the future whole. Be cautious, then, of that to which one yield, For in that choice, one's destiny's revealed. To love the fleeting, fragile, and the low, Is to plant seeds, watch them grow. But set one's gaze on what is truly grand, A light that burns in some transcendent land. Love something primal, a truth without a flaw, A whisper of the universal law. Love something of the supra-being's breath, That conquers fear and triumphs over death. Then one will find one's way, a path made bright, By the pure object of one's spirit's light. For love is not a journey, but the guide, With cosmic purpose deep within its stride.   Source & Credit : Unknown PS Love for what is primal and cosmic, and love will illuminate one's path and lead one to a life of meaning and purpose.

It's Just Raining

It's Just Raining Rain, a whisper from the sky,  A silver thread on the windowpane,  Washes the world with a gentle sigh,  And cleanses the soul of its lingering pain.   Each drop, a prayer from a cloud above,  A holy kiss on the thirsty earth,  A testament to a cosmic love,  Giving new life and a fresh new birth.   The thunder's rumble, a divine decree,  Shaking the dust from the tired ground,  Waking the spirit to finally see,  The sacred silence in the storm's sound.   So let it fall, let the heavens weep,  Let the waters rise and the rivers flow,  Into the ocean, secrets to keep,  Where the spirit is planted and begins to grow.   Source & Credit: Unknown PS Is it's just rain or some more for One? For One, rain is definitely more than "just rain." It has a calming effect, a way of forcing the world to slow down. The sound of it on the roof, the clean smell after a downpour, and the way it washes ...

One Thing One Wish To Do

One Thing One Wish To Do  And One will be on fasting today, not as a penance, Yet to praise. And One will not sleep tonight,  not to please, Yet to appease. Sitting on the banks of River Ganga, Watching the rising of Full Moon, From the city called Gateway to Gods. PS  What all things you wish to do?

The Stillness of Love

The Stillness of Love In the quiet space where thoughts subside, A gentle love, a truth inside. No grasping heart, no clinging need, Just open space, a planted seed. The breath, a dance, a mindful guide, Observing love, where fears reside. The self, a wave, a constant flow, Witnessing love, where seeds can grow. Embrace the now, the present grace, In every touch, a loving space. No judgment here, no holding tight, Just open eyes, and guiding light. The heart, a mirror, clear and true, Reflects the love, in me and you. In stillness found, a love profound, Where peace and love forever bound. Credit & Source: Unknown

Stillness and Connection

A Poem of Stillness and Connection In the quiet breath, where thoughts subside, A space of stillness, where truths reside. Love, a gentle breeze, a soft embrace, Not a grasping hold, but a tranquil space. Observe the heart, its rhythm and beat, The ebb and flow, bittersweet. Emotions arise, like waves on the shore, Let them pass by, and ask for no more. In the depths of silence, a connection found, Not in words spoken, but in the ground. Of shared humanity, a bond so true, In the present moment, me and you. No need to cling, no need to fight, Just witness the dance, of dark and light. For love is not a thing to be sought, But a state of being, beautifully wrought. Credit and Source: Unknown

Kaho's Face-seeking Journey

Kaho by Haruki Murakami Translated, from the Japanese, by Philip Gabriel Source and Credit : newyorker.com A long time passed as she walked everywhere, examining  countless faces as she went, yet she never found her own face.  What she saw were always the faces of others. She didn’t know  what to do. And before she knew it she was no longer a girl but  an adult woman. Would she never be able to find her own face  again She fell into despair. As she was sitting at the tip of a cape in a northern land, crying in utter hopelessness, a tall young man in a fur coat appeared and sat down beside her. His long hair gently waved in the wind from the sea. The young man gazed into her face and, smiling broadly, said this: “I’ve never seen a woman with such a lovely face as yours.” By then, the face she’d pasted on had become her true face. All sorts of experiences, all kinds of emotions and thoughts, had joined together to create...

White

Image
White The White Book  By Han Kang Translated from the Korean by Deborah Smith Portobello Books Each moment is a leap forwards from the brink of an invisible cliff, where time’s keen edges are constantly renewed. We lift our foot from the solid ground of all our life lived thus far, and take that perilous step out into the empty air. Not because we can claim any particular courage, but because there is no other way. Now, in this moment, I feel that vertiginous thrill course through me. As I step recklessly into time I have not yet lived, into this book I have not yet written. - Page 7 All whiteness With your eyes, I will see the deepest, most dazzling place within a white cabbage, the precious young petals concealed at its heart. With your eyes, I will see the chill of the half-moon risen in the sky. At some point those eyes will see a glacier. They will look up at that enormous mass of ice and see something sacred, unsullied by life. They will see inside the silence of th...

With Passion and Abandon

[Gary] I know I’ve thrown a lot at you this semester, but that’s the point, isn’t it? To be inundated, overwhelmed by perspectives and possibilities, because that is what life is offering you if you choose to look at it that way. And I didn’t always. I used to believe that reality was objective, immutable. And we’re all just sort of stuck in a Plato-Descartes-Kant sort of way. [laughter] [Gary] But over the years, I’ve come to believe that the truth is created through the integration of different points of view, and there are no absolutes, whether moral or epistemological. Now, I find this to be a much more empowering way to go through life, this notion that if the universe is not fixed, then neither are you, and you really can become a different and hopefully, better person. Now, the one thing I know for certain, is your reality will change over time in ways you cannot even imagine, and I urge you to be open for this transformation. So, as we close out this semester, if I ha...

What bounds Each One to Each One

If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together. Lilla Watson Even though she is often credited for, she is not comfortable being identified as the sole author of this quote. Source and Credit:  https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilla_Watson In other words, Each One working with Each Other One, working together, with a common goal of elevating Each One is not a ‘help’. One will elevate Oneself, when One is elevating Each Other One. This is what Harmony is - togetherness with common cause and intend. PS  What does Each One think about this quote?

If You Want His Answer

If You Want His Answer By Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda Whether He replies or not, Keep calling Him — Ever calling in the chamber Of continuous prayer. Whether He comes or not, Believe He is ever approaching Nearer to you With each command of your heart’s love. Whether He answers or not, Keep entreating Him. Even if He makes no reply In the way you expect, Ever know that in some subtle way He will respond. In the darkness of your deepest prayers, Know that with you He is playing Hide-and-seek. And in the midst of the dance of life, disease, and death, If you keep calling Him, Undepressed by His seeming silence, You will receive His answer. Oneness By Thich Nhat Hanh

Oneness By Thich Nhat Hanh The moment I die, I will try to come back to you as quickly as possible. I promise it will not take long. Isn’t it true I am already with you, as I die each moment? I come back to you in every moment. Just look, feel my presence. If you want to cry, please cry. And know that I will cry with you. The tears you shed will heal us both. Your tears are mine. The earth I tread this morning transcends history. Spring and Winter are both present in the moment. The young leaf and the dead leaf are really one. My feet touch deathlessness, and my feet are yours. Walk with me now. Let us enter the dimension of oneness and see the cherry tree blossom in Winter. Why should we talk about death? I don’t need to die to be back with you. Published in Thich Nhat Hanh,  Call Me by My True Names  (1993) Source & Credit :  https://plumvillage.org/poems
